Whitney Pigao Lyrical
Whitney Pigao’s dancing is her absolute passion! She was born and raised in Lihue, Kauai. She attends Kauai High School as a sophomore. She has been dancing with Aloha Dance Studio since she was 6 years old and is one of the very few original dancers who started with the studio the day it opened, that is still dedicated to the studio. For as long as she can remember she has loved dancing! Whitney was very lucky to have been a part of Aloha Dance Studio Junior Company when she was in 6th going onto 7th grade. After a few recitals of working hard she was asked to apart of the Senior Company in 8th grade which was my goal at the time. In 8th grade she won first place in her school talent show which she then went on to winning Brown Bags to Stardom in the dancing category for Hawaii. In 6th grade she was picked to compete in California with a dance team Excel. Since her very first lyrical class at the JUMP Convention she was sure that lyrical was going to be her absolute passion. She is so very thankful to have an opportunity to teach kids what she has grown to love!
